The Newness is Here, Loud and Clear!

tending the place for the arrival
to open space
sweeping away what’s not needed
within and without
at many levels
with heart and hands

right before the arrival
Death shows it’s face
through a little bird in front of the door
“to what did you offer your life?“

Sarah arrives
and suddenly the whole place shifts to another level
cats behave differently
Trust is in the air
sun shines directly in my eyes
there is light,
light,
and light
at every level

as she arrives
sitting together in light
with a coffee in hand
sharing words of beauty
from the time of transition
held strongly by a web of connected hearts
signs all over the place
all the way

“MEOW!“

comes a LOUD voice from the depth
“who are you?”
“MEOW!”
“which one are you?”
“MEOW!“

we walk to meet the LOUD voice
it’s a new one!!
a kitten…
it’s Newness!

“where are you coming from?”
“MEOW!”
“what do you want here?”
“MEOW!“

so…
the Newness is here
and her voice is loud and clear!

Hey, flying geese!
Masters of migration to the new worlds,
Humble explorers of the unknown lands,
Co-travellers…

~

Tell me,

What are your hearts burning for,
when you decide to take off
and fly away
non-stop
TOGETHER
in search of a new home.

How does it feel
in that moment of trust!
when you shift your weight from your feet to your wings
to jump into the ethereal space between earth and the sky?!

What do you see
flying so high
constantly staring at the horizon?

How do you keep listening to the calling
from the new lands
and sense the direction together?

~

I want to know…

~

When you have your feet on the ground again
don’t forget to capture the story
and share it with others.

The end of Dictator Gaddhafi and the source of Dictatorship

Just a few minutes ago I heard the news about the death of Muammar Gaddhafi, previous dictator of Libya. Staring at the images on the BBC news channel showing the people of Lybia celebrating in the streets, which is completely understandable, I felt an urge to lit a candle for his soul.

Having lived a life that has been affected by the dictatorship in my own homeland Iran, and through continuous reflections on the source and nature of the dictatorships, I have come to see it as a process or a way of being sourced from a certain level of consciousness. Seen within that frame, the question of dictatorship shifts from focusing on the political power structure or the people in that structure, to the consciousness level that the whole society operates at.

Field work, football and Tiki Taka

Many of those who follow international soccer are astonished by the quality of the team play demonstrated by the Spanish national team and FC Barcelona in the past couple of years. Not only it’s pleasing to the eye, but also very effective to an extent that they have won the World Cup and multiple European championships. Their style of play is known as Tiki Taka, commonly spelled tiqui-taca in Spanish. In Wikipedia is it shortly described as “A style of play characterised by short passing and movement, working the ball through various channels, and maintaining possession.” With Tiki Taka the ball is continuously passed between team members in a way that the whole team operates as one intelligent field, rather than sum total of talented individuals.
